Class Description
Local Community Groups

Local Community Groups

Community-based, non-profit entities (501(c)(3) or verified civic groups) and local cultural organizations whose activities are aimed at the broader community rather than being centered primarily around OCS students.

 

  • Base Facility Fee: $100.00 per approved event (Waived during normal operating hours)
  • Hourly Rental Fee: $0.00 (During normal operating hours) unless additional custodial support is needed which will be billed based on rates below
  • After-Hours/Sunday/Holidays Rental Fee: $40.00 per hour ($50.00 per hour on Sundays/Holidays) 

 

Examples: 

  • Oregon Community Theatre (Adult/community productions), 
  • Local homeowner associations, 
  • Local church groups/religious services, 
  • Community adult sports leagues, 
  • Civic service clubs (e.g., Rotary, Kiwanis),
  •  Local government public forums.
District Groups

District and Core Student Groups

Organizations directly managed by or intrinsically connected to Oregon City Schools. Their primary focus is serving OCS students and staff.

  • Base Facility Fee: $0.00
  • Hourly Rental Fee: $0.00
  • After-Hours/Sunday Custodial Fee: Waived

 

Examples: 

  • K-12 academic classes
  • OCS varsity and sub-varsity athletic teams
  • OCS marching band
  • Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTOs)
  • Booster Clubs (Athletic, Band, Choir)
  • District-sponsored professional development.

Outside Non-Profit and For-Profit Groups

Outside Non-Profit and For-Profit Groups

Commercial enterprises, private individuals, or non-profit entities located outside the Oregon City School District boundaries whose activities are designed to generate profit or serve a restricted audience.

 

  • Base Facility Fee: $100.00 per approved event
  • Hourly Rental Fee: $40.00 per hour ($50.00 per hour on Sundays/Holidays) for all usage blocks, regardless of standard staff presence.

Examples: 

  • Private sports camps/AAU tournaments run by outside entities
  • Commercial dance recitals
  • Corporate meetings
  • For-profit tutoring or educational services.

Partnered Youth and Student-Centric Groups

 

Partnered Youth and Student-Centric Groups

Outside community organizations that directly serve and primarily involve OCS students, providing vital civic, artistic, or athletic opportunities. To support the community's youth, the district grants preferred access and waives the base facility fee for these specific foundational partners.

 

  • Base Facility Fee: $0.00 (Waived because they directly/primarily involve OCS students)
  • Hourly Rental Fee: $0.00 (During normal operating hours)
  • After-Hours Rental Fee: $40.00 per hour 
  • Sunday/Holidays Rental Fee: $50.00 per hour

 

Examples:

  • Oregon Recreation Department (Youth leagues utilizing school fields or gyms)
  • Oregon Children's Theatre (Student productions involving OCS youth)
  • Other Examples: Local Boy Scout/Girl Scout troops, local 4-H clubs.
